Πολύ σωστά τα λες Perry, για τα δικαιώματα παραγωγής.
Χωρίς να μιλήσουμε νομικά (άλλωστε δεν γνωρίζω και πως έχει ακριβώς η συμφωνία, ούτε ...το Αγγλικό/Κινεζικό κλπ εμπορικό δίκαιο), με δυο κουβέντες, απ' ότι κατάλαβα από αυτά που παραθέτω παρακάτω προκύπτει πως η MG-Rover είχε πουλήσει το δικαίωμα παραγωγής του 25 και 75 στους Κινέζους (SAIC) και στην κατοχή της έχει μόνο τα...μηχανήματα παραγωγής τους με τα οποία δηλαδή
μπορείς μεν να φτιάξεις 25αρια και 75αρια, ...αλλά ΔΕΝ έχεις το δικαιώμα να το κάνεις!
Να υποθέσω ότι
ο κάθε αγοραστής πρέπει να περάσει και από ...Κίνα μια βόλτα;
Να βάλουμε στην εικόνα και ότι παλιότερα είχαν πουληθεί και άλλα δύο μπον-φιλέ της εταιρίας (ΜΙΝΙ και LAND-ROVER) που ήδη κατασκευάζονται από άλλες εταιρίες ...και είμαστε εδώ που είμαστε.

TEHRAN (AFP) Sunday May 8, 05:26 AM- Iran has decided against making an offer for bankrupt British car manufacturer MG Rover, because Chinese firm Shanghai Auto already has the right to manufacture the Rover 75 and Rover 25, Industry Minister Eshagh Jahangiri said.
"As China already bought the rights from Rover (last November), Iran is no longer interested in purchasing the firm," Jahangiri said.
"Rover's value lies not in its equipment but in its manufacturing rights which have already been bought by the Chinese.
"We have no need of the firm's equipment and our advisers have counselled us not to buy it."
Shanghai Auto Industry Corp, Shanghai Auto's parent firm, paid 67 million pounds (127.7 million US dollars) to MG Rover for the right to manufacture the Rover 75 and Rover 25.
TEHRAN (Reuters) Sat May 7, 2005 01:48 PM BST- Iran is no longer interested in buying MG Rover because key brand rights have already been sold and it is not interested in the British carmaker's technology alone, Iranian newspapers quoted a senior minister as saying.
The century-old company, which once made sturdy Land Rovers and sleek MG sports cars, has stopped production after failing to secure a rescue deal in an embarrassing blow to Prime Minister Tony Blair ahead of last week's general election.
"Iran has cancelled (its interest in) the purchase of Rover, because its license is already bought by the Chinese," Minister of Industries and Mines Es-haq Jahangiri was quoted as saying by Donya-ye Eqtesad daily. Other papers carried the same quotes.
China's Shanghai Automotive Industry Corp (SAIC) has acquired rights to build cars based on Rover models but has not yet decided whether to do so. It has ruled out buying MG Rover as a going concern but expressed interest in some assets.
Jahangiri said Iran had not been planning to buy MG Rover assets, but had rather wanted to manufacture cars in Britain using Rover brands.
"We don't need its machinery," the Iranian minister said.
Όλ' αυτά βέβαια χωρίς να γνωρίζω the wole picture, απλά διαβάζοντας στο δίκτυο... πάντως ενώ υπάρχουν σκόρπιες ειδήσεις για πολλούς υποψήφιους (Αμερικάνους, Ρώσσους, Ινδούς κλπ)
δεν παύω να ανησυχώ γιατί όσο περνάει ο καιρός νομίζω (και διορθώστε με αν κάνω λάθος) θα είναι πολύ δυσκολότερο να ξεκινήσει και πάλι η παραγωγή στο εργοστάσιο από πλευράς ανθρωπίνου δυναμικού και μηχανημάτων (πέτρα που δεν κυλάει χορταριάζει, που λένε)
